Mons Pubis

In Latin Mountation of love . Fatty pad over the pubic bone . Covered with hairy skin and protect external genital.

Labia Major :- Out lips with fatty fold of skin surrounding the external opening of vagina Outer surface covered with hair . Inner smooth with rich blood supply

Labia Minora :- Smaller fold of skin beneath the labia majora . They extend from clitoris to either side of vaginal opening.

Clitoris :- This corresponds to male penis . Highly sensitive to sexual stimulus it covered with skin and secretion comes and is to be cleaned to avoid irritation and smell.

Vestibule :- This space between labia minora it has urethral and vaginal opening. Vaginal opening is below the small opening urethra is covered by the layer knows as hymen.

Bartholins glands :-  It secretes the lubrication fluid.

Vagina:- It is muscular tube of 3” long from vaginal opening to cervix it is situated between the urinary bladder and rectum It is passages for menstral flow . The soft collapased wall of vagina can accommodate a penis of any size during intercourse.

Only outer 2” of vaginal walls is sensation to touch and stimuli.

Ovary

They are almond shape two in number which lies on either side of uterus below fallopian tube . Ovary is made up of immature of ova known as graffian follicle roughly 2 to 4 lack out of which approximately 400 mature in life time the maturation starts after one to two year of menstruation .The on set of menstruation is known as menarche the cessation of menstruation is known as menopause one ova mature every month in alternate ovary . The function of ovaries is to produce ovum . To secreate female Sex hormones.

Fallopian tube

There are two on either side of uterus which open on upper part of uterus .When ovulation occur the fimbrial end of tube by its ciliary movements put the ovum to inner end of tube.The ovum cannot move as the sperm is. It takes 3-7 days to reach the uterus by cilliary move .

Uterus :-It is known as womb. It is hollowmuscular pear shape is place in pelvic cavity between most the bladder and rectum . It opens in narrow neck known as cervix which opens in upper end of vagina.
